Senior Internet Software Developer

Job Description:

Cubic Compass Software has an opening for a passionate Senior Internet Software Developer with expert knowledge of C# and ASP.NET. This position offers an exciting opportunity to use leading edge Internet technologies to develop interactive Customer Experience Management (CEM) solutions.

Characteristics:

• You are eager to start using .NET 3.5, Linq, IIS7, and Visual Studio 2008 (if you're not already)
• You meticulously refactor your code to meet ongoing changes and requirements
• You use interfaces, delegates, providers, abstract base classes, and generics to anticipate change and keep your code flexible
• You routinely use Ajax in interactive web applications
• You see the potential to use Silverlight for developing next generation rich internet applications
• You know the ASP.NET HttpRequest event chain from beginning to end
• You subscribe to Scott Gu's blog and stay on top of the latest ASP.NET developments
• You want to empower end users with rich customization and configuration options rather than continually recompiling, testing, and re-deploying assemblies to address each and every change request
• You are tired of maintaining databases and stored procedures and want to work in a 100% service-oriented/object-oriented architecture

Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive applications integrated with CRM systems (Demand generation, eCommerce, Event Management)
• Manage and extend an object oriented library of business related classes
• Develop software modules that integrate with 3rd party service-oriented applications
• Develop automated unit and acceptance tests
• Develop and maintain custom datacenter management utilities (C#)
• Design and develop automated reporting and analytics services
• Maintain/troubleshoot deployed software

Qualifications and Education:

• 4+ Years experience with C# / ASP.NET
• Experience with XML, SOAP, WSDL, and REST
• Object Oriented Design and Development
• Ability to work in a project-oriented environment. Accountable for timely delivery of software
• Windows Server and IIS Administration
• Visual Studio.NET

Priority will be given to candidates providing links to examples of other projects -- peronsal or professional. This position is onsite 40 hours per week in SW Portland, Oregon. Some telecommuting possible. No 3rd party responses please.
