Profile: Mike Leach
Mike Leach is the CEO of Cubic Compass Software (CCS), a provider of on-demand Web Content Management and integrated portal solutions for leading CRM systems.
Mike has been an advocate for web self-service and customer interaction management solutions for over a decade; initially developing web portal solutions for Baan ERP while at the Roland Group in the mid 90's and then architecting online banking solutions from '98-'2001 at Corillian Corporation for Financial Institutions such as M&T, Wachovia, NCR, and BankOne.
In 2001, he founded CCS and was the principal architect behind the Passage .NET Enterprise Portal server that provides infrastructure for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). His most recent passion is providing hosted eMarketing and CMS solutions integrated with Salesforce.com that help businesses manage and automate the entire customer lifecycle via the web, from Lead generation and qualification to Customer acquisition, support, and retention.
In 2002, Mike led the design and development of Epicor Clientele Self-Service Portal, which was awarded Best Customer Management solution by eWeek in 2003. CCS later launched a channel management solution for Epicor CRM.
Also in 2003, CCS was a Portal of the Year finalist for a portal solution developed with HP Global Services.
Mike is an avid Electronic Jazz Composer and Guitar/Keyboard player, spending much of his free time in his home project studio composing and recording music. When Oregon weather allows, he can often be found riding his Sport/Tour motorcycle and playing on a variety of public golf links.
Mike holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Information Systems and is a Gulf War Veteran (Desert Storm '91).
