Profile: Mike Leach
Mike Leach is Founder/CEO of Cubic Compass Software (CCS), which is a provider of web content management and interactive portal solutions integrated with leading web services in the cloud.
Mike has over 15 years experience working in web self-service and customer interaction management solutions; initially developing web portal solutions for Baan ERP while at the Roland Group in the mid 90's and then architecting online banking solutions from '98-'2001 at Corillian Corporation for Financial Institutions such as M&T, Wachovia, NCR, and BankOne.
Mike is a member of the American Marketing Association and is actively engaged in the Internet Marketing Special Interest Group (SIG). He has presented at conferences, such as the Salesforce Dreamforce '06 user conference, on topics related to Marketing Automation, metric-driven web development, CRM Integration, Internet Marketing ROI, and Customer Self-Service.
In 2001, he founded CCS and was the principal architect behind the Passage .NET Enterprise server that provides infrastructure for one-to-one, personalized Internet communications (Web and Email). His most recent passion is providing hosted web and portal solutions that integrate with leading cloud-based services from Amazon, Salesforce, Google, Authorize.net, StrikeIron, and many more.
In 2002, Mike led the development of Epicor Clientele Self-Service Portal, which was awarded Best Customer Management solution by eWeek in 2003. CCS later launched a channel management solution for Epicor CRM. In 2003, CCS was a Portal of the Year finalist for a portal solution developed with HP Global Services.
Mike is the principal architect behind the Dialogue Script web development language, which is an easy to learn, yet powerful scripting language that addresses the needs of agile organizations managing customer-driven websites and portals.
Mike is an avid Music Composer and Guitar/Keyboard player, spending much of his free time in his project studio composing and recording music. When Oregon weather allows, he can often be found riding his Sport/Tour motorcycle or playing golf.
Mike holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Information Systems and is a Gulf War Veteran (Desert Storm '91 - Patriot Missile - Engagement Controller).
